I suspect it's because I'm behind a proxy at work but I may be wrong. I can "import" the vmdk file in the "Virtual Media Manager", but then nothing happens. Any ideas?

Nice! Just what I was looking for. <img

But for development dealing with the scratchbox is a hassle (eg KDevelop C++ parsing doesn't work). It might not be hard at all, just a minimal Debian install and then use the Maemo x86 repositories (assuming those exist?).I dunno. Just an idea. :)

I would be interested in a Maemo SDK VM that was actually Maemo itself.

Probably for building the official SDK will always be better.
